SAIC seeks a a highly organized, self-starting Staff Officer to support our IC customer. This position is located in Springfield, VA. You will support a variety of administrative and staff officer tasks that include data tracking, records management, brief senior level decision briefings, tasker status and  other materials requiring senior review.

Duties shall include:

• Support the Office policy team in the tasking, adjudicating and processing of Office acquisition policies in review.

• Perform daily tracking and management of internal and external taskers.

• Prepare weekly tasker tracking reports for Office Leadership.

• Prepare Staff packages for the office leadership in accordance to tasker guidelines.

• Generate and update spreadsheets/SharePoint, track deliverables; ensure all appropriate forms adhere to NGA's guidance and policy.

• Support Office records management processes; develop file plan, file inventory, etc

• Drafts and/or modifies internal administrative instructional and informational material for use in improving and standardizing acquisition business operations.

• Executes a variety of administrative functions including vetting, assigning and tracking the status of official NGA Central Electronic Routing and Taking System (N-CERTs) tasking, tracking and assisting with space and equipment requirements, records management, information management, security administrative, property management, reports management, and/or other related activities.

• Provide assistance on the proper procedures of responding to taskers/requests, creates staff summary

sheets and ensures proper formats are provided with taskings.

• Coordinate internal site functions, providing support to working-level through high-ranking visitors and major events, and in the development and coordination planning for Distinguished Visitor (DV) tours and special events.

• Manage, update, and revise Standard Operating Procedures, and other processes accordingly.

• Schedule and reserve conference rooms necessary for the mission partner visits and events

• Prepare meeting minutes

• Provide direct operations and administrative support which may include issuing parking passes, conducting or coordinating data transfer requests, supporting research and ad-hoc projects, and other administrative functions.

• Support preparation and brief senior level decision briefings, tasker status and other materials requiring

senior review.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience within field with 10+ years of experience.

   TS/SCI Required

• Demonstrated experience, skill and expertise leading, managing and working office support including but not limited to creating diagrams, checklists, SOPs, manuals, and handbooks

• Proficiency on NGA’s Central Electronic Requirements Tracking Systems (NCERTS).

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience using SharePoint.

• Demonstrated experience in leveraging a range of data Offices for an understanding of manpower, contracts and awards program.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing standard business application software for presentations, word processing, and especially spreadsheets to be able to inter-relate and effectively present geospatial data  metrics.Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining records in compliance with National  Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requirements
