Description
The Sponsor requires support to design, build, and deploy a bi-directional AWS API Gateway capable of sending and pulling data from various source systems over a secure network. The Contractor will work closely with over forty interface partners across different organizations and agencies, in defining interface requirements, building a to-be architecture, performing comprehensive system testing, and ultimately, deploying an integrated internal and external facing API Gateway across two different agencies on the same classification network. This project is part of an overall Sponsor effort to migrate portions or all of payroll systems to a new-shared service provider. Priorities will be managed by the designated Government Technical Manager (GTM).
Work Requirements: Software Quality Assurance with Application Testing:
1. The Contractor shall review and analyze documentation to create detailed test plans, procedures, and Requirements Verification Traceability Matrixes (RVTM) to support testing activities.
2. The Contractor shall test the consumption of external APIs or data as it passes through the gateway.
3. The Contractor shall work collaboratively with partners to plan, coordinate, and conduct test activities.
4. The Contractor shall investigate and create discrepancy reports.
5. The Contractor shall perform thorough system, interface, user acceptance, and regression testing.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
TS/SCI with Polygraph
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
1. Demonstrated experience analyzing technical documents and preparing test strategies.
2. Demonstrated experience reviewing and analyzing requirements documentation.
3. Demonstrated experience writing test plans, procedures, scenarios, and RVTMs.
4. Demonstrated experience conducting manual or automated testing of complex systems.
5. Demonstrated experience comprehensively documenting test findings.
6. Demonstrated experience with system, interface, user acceptance, and regression testing.
7. Demonstrated experience with functional and regression testing.
Desired Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience writing automated tests using a programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
2. Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery
