SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer at several levels to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.

This position is on-site in Aberdeen, MD. SAIC does provide relocation assistance.

In support of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) and Task Order (TO), SAIC is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates.  We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals who have in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessments, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstrations, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of designated information and/or intelligence software systems.

Job Duties:

  • Perform duties as Senior Architect and Team Lead for Network, Information Technology (IT), and System Modernization, Logistics, and Sustainment team in support of DEVCOM QRC Branch
  • General duties include designing information technology (IT) system architectures for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise
  • Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security
  • Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies
  • Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards
  • Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process
  • Develops and recommends corrective actions

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Senior: Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Four (4) years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Senior Principal: Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Four (4) years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degree

Clearance Requirements:

  • A Top Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; a TS/SCI CI Poly Security Clearance is required to maintain employment

Required Skills:

  • Ability to design information technology (IT) system architectures for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise
  • Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security
  • Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system
  • Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards
