Description
SAIC is looking for a Junior Level Information Systems Security Engineer to join a high visibility team in a Security Operations Center. Candidates should be motivated self-starters, who will work in a dynamic and fast paces security environment.
Candidates will gain exposure and understanding of a number of engineering fields such as: Networking, Security, Software, and Systems Administration. Additionally, candidates can expect to perform the following functions:
- Utilize Customer approved software packages to perform security scans on various types of equipment
- Assist in the approval process of multiple systems
- Assist with physical security duties, such as door accesses
- Perform Data Transfers for customers
Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- 5 years of relevant technical experience
- 1+ years experience with Network administration and monitoring
- 1+ years experience with performing basic System Administration functions (password resets and account activations)
- Proficiency working with Linux and Windows environments on both physical and virtual platforms
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in a 24/7 Operational Environment
