SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician IV to support the U.S. Navy in Bedford, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• Perform, repair, maintenance actions on ISR systems, ISR subsystems, and equipment or components at CONUS and OCONUS locations as required.
• Provide system installation and initial Operator Training for ISR systems at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Inspect, test, and perform necessary maintenance actions to keep systems operational to specified condition codes.
• Perform reconditioning, sustainment and repair of retrograde materials to include cleaning, operational testing, condition code sentencing.
• Analyze problems, and report in a timely manner via electronic communication methods, and sustain fielded assets.
• Provide weekly reports and situational reports on system condition code and pertinent information while deployed in the Area of Operations (AoR).
• Develop and report maintenance actions while sustaining, repairing, and troubleshooting. Report via internal reporting processes.
• While deployed OCONUS or fielding CONUS, direct engagement with the Customer is always present. Professionalism and proper image is a requirement.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate's Degree in Networking, Engineering Technology, or Automotive and 5 years of experience; additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Experience in Communications, Radars, Optics, and Tactical Data Links
• Strong Electrical, Mechanical, Networking background
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

DESIRED: 

• Current CCNA, Security+, or Linux Redhat RHEL certification
