We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Developer to join our multi-million dollar National Intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team. As a contributor to the Intelligence Community’s first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies, establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC. As the Cloud Developer, you will work alongside the development team and advise on the designing, deploying, and maintenance of multiple, fast-turnaround capabilities utilized to perform highly visible and high priority collection efforts. Additionally, you will create, maintain, and perform Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) on deliverables to adapt to changes in a multi-cloud DevSecOps architecture.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Providing development engineering and programming support to mission supporting applications
Developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs
Analyzing user needs and developing software solutions
Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
Converting CIMM’s multi-cloud management requirement specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language
Developing and writing computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information
Analyzing functional applications and design specifications for functional activities
Developing codes, tests, and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software
Performing maintenance on existing software products and contributing knowledge of mission applications
Writing programs according to specifications needed
Providing technical support in the evaluation of prime object names, data elements, and other objects
Ensuring proposed object definitions are clear, concise, technically correct, and that they represent singular concepts
Ensuring proposed objects are consistent with data and process models
Working with the technical staff to understand problems had with software and then resolving them
Resolving customer complaints with the software and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
Developing block diagrams and logic flow charts
Preparing required documentation
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Strong demonstrated proficiency + experience in software/ application developer skillsets (node.js/ python or ruby)
Strong demonstrated integration/engineering documentation skills
Strong demonstrated understanding and familiarity with developer CI/CD foundations, server-less concepts, AWS and MS Azure micro-services build integration
Ability to leverage deployment pipelines via Azure (azure DevOps Pipeline, Github aztions, DevOps in general Azure developer services)
Required familiarity with AWS: all categories of Entra ID and Azure role base access control, Azure Functions, WebJobs, Resource manager, Bicep, VM extensions, Azure automation, Key Vault, SAM CLI, Azure monitor, (event logs, eventbridge) service bus, Queue storage, Blob storage, Event hubs, Data Factory, Azure Purview, Azure Cosmos DB
Required familiarity with non-Azure subjects: Hashicorp Terraform, Git or a comprehensive version control system (VCS)
Some experience deploying integrating, developing cloud workloads in AWS and Azure
Strong understanding of IP management, IP space subnets/netmask.
Strong understanding of Open systems interconnect (OSI) model supporting general IP networking.
