Job Description


SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Senior Training Analyst to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

In support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer, the Principal Training Analyst is responsible for developing, directing, planning and evaluating training programs or activities to meet external customer or internal employee learning objectives 

Job Duties

  • Perform training needs analysis
  • Custom course development, development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and evaluation and learning assessments
  • Communication and delivery of the course content and materials, and for developing learning activities and demonstrations
  • Collaborates with customer or internal functional organization to develop, enhance, and/or evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content
  • Create course content, training materials, visual aids and documentation to support a variety of instructional formats such as lecture, lab exercises, field training, computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT)


  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more of related experience
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
  • Must be skilled in oral and written communications
  • Knowledge to analyze statistical data to develop policies, procedures, objectives, and areas of special interest to meet training requirements
  • Must be proficient in the Office Suite of programs e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment


  • Experience training on PARCS, or other Strategic Warning and Surveillance radar systems such as PAVE PAWS and UEWR

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
