SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician IV in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.
Job Description:
- Provides technical support for Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) systems and platforms to include the modification, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of fielded Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and related support equipment.
- Tests and evaluates AEA and related systems, subsystems, equipment and components
- Conducts routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment
- Performs corrective maintenance on circuit cards and electronic modules by troubleshooting and repairing the faulty cards and modules.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's Degree in related discipline and 2 years or more of related experience; additional experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; interim secret needed to start
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Experience reading schematics and engineering diagrams
- Wiring experience
- Basic computer knowledge needed for data input
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook
- IPC 7711/7721 Repair and Rework Certification

- Active Secret Clearance
