SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Capable of performing Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Analysis and other supportability analyses.
  • Maintenance Planning: to include analysis and preparation of various maintenance plans
  • Identification of various maintenance actions: e.g., elapsed time of maintenance actions; task frequency; failure rate of an item; Mean Time to Repair an item; and an item's man-hour allocation by maintenance action and level.
  • Use of SLICwave/EAGLE for entering operations and maintenance data.
  • Capable of producing, analyzing and understanding Logistics Support Analysis Reports output of SLICwave/EAGLE concerning logistics analysis
  •  Assist in development of logistics procedures and logistics plans as required
  • Provide Supportability Analysis to assist in defining the requirements for and reducing the cost of providing support for an asset.
  • Analyzing LPD, DMSMS, MSDS, market research, Document Change Orders (DCOs), Configuration Lists, and drawing reviews. 
  • ECP/LECP Development Support  - Experience with development and implementation of ECPs/LECPs and associated supporting documentation
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance: be able to analyze RCM data received from reliability engineering or if required, use RCM software in order to actually perform RCM analysis
  • Capable of performing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) analysis for determination of parts obsolescence issues.
  • Thrives in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelors degree and five (5) years or more of related experience or equivalent; Masters and three (3) years or more experience.  Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
  • Prior experience with maintenance planning to include analysis and preparation of various maintenance plans
  • Experience identifying various maintenance actions: e.g., elapsed time of maintenance actions; task frequency; failure rate of an item; Mean Time to Repair an item; and an item's man-hour allocation by maintenance action and level.
  • Experience with producing, analyzing and understanding Logistics Support Analysis Reports from a logistics database systems.  IE: SLICwave/EAGLE
  • ECP/LECP Development Support - Experience with development and implementation of ECPs/LECPs and associated supporting documentation
  • Position may require travel. 10%
  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret Clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
  • US Citizenship required

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior Airborne experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications including word-processing, presentation, and spreadsheet and integrated software application.
  • Working knowledge of JEDMICS, DoD EMALL and DRMO 
  • Working knowledge of SLICwave/EAGLE
