Job Description:
Require an operations engineer to support a government Satellite Program Office (SPO) in mission management of a new operational system. This position encompasses all aspects of end-to-end operations engineering to include mission operations planning, maintaining mission capability, coordination with enterprise partners, and daily interaction with satellite and payload contractors.
Key areas of responsibilities include:
This position is part of the operations function in a SPO and will involve participation in all stages of a satellite life cycle. Your responsibilities will extend across multiple satellites in a compressed timeline resulting in concurrent activities. This position requires a high performing individual who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of experience; Master’s Degree and 7 years of experience; PhD and 4 years of experience
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to be effective in a government/contractor team environment
