SAIC is seeking a Lifecycle Sustainment Management professional with experience in lifecycle management, sustainment engineering, and/or logistics management/analysis and who possesses the ability to work with satellite ground system owners and cross functional teams (e.g., engineering, quality, test, configuration, supply chain) to develop hardware and software sustainment plans.  In this position, you will play an active role in determining quantity and frequency of purchasing and recapitalization of resources across multiple satellite ground systems at multiple locations within the Space System Command, Innovation and Prototyping Directorate.  You will be expected to quantify and analyze technical sustainment activities and associated implications and impacts to schedule, cost, and program execution within the program’s portfolio of task orders. You will be a critical team member for early risk identification through reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA) process and analysis. The position entails articulate communication for briefing, reporting and leading working groups with both internal and external customers (industry and government) working at Kirtland, AFB NM.

Your day to day fun activities:
•    Maintain and implement the Lifecycle Sustainment Plan
•    Coordinate and align the Lifecycle Management (LCM) processes to program management, engineering, and functional operations efforts. Includes cross functional teams; engineering, quality, test, configuration management, and supply chain
•    Integrate with Task Order integrated product teams (IPT)
•    Research & analyze material solutions and recommend material architectures and design modifications to improve system reliability and cost-effectiveness
•    Analyze hardware and software maintenance, serviceability, end of service, and end of life
•    Assist with quantifying RMA measurements for schedule and cost impacts, quantifying and qualifying opportunities to improve and/or expand capabilities by recapitalization, tech-refresh and/or refurbishment
•    Facilitate LCM related workshops for Task Orders within the EDIS portfolio
•    Facilitate LCM related lessons learned/after action reviews with internal/external customers
•    Creating program level metrics (e.g. 30-60-90, EOL/EOS, Maintenance Cycle, RMA)
•    Work with program and task Schedulers to identify critical actions and dependencies associated with system sustainment and resource monitoring; ensure an executable program for each Task Order

Qualifications

This is you:
•    Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in a technically related field with 5 years of relevant systems sustainment management experience 
•    Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and be able to obtain (3 months from start) and maintain TS/SCI
•    Must be a US Citizen
•    Demonstrable knowledge of Life-Cycle Management (Integrated Product Support Elements)
•    Strong understanding of processes associated with sustainment RMA/DMSMS
•    Working knowledge of sustainment standards (i.e. ISO, IEEE, MIL) and compliance

•    Demonstrated interpersonal skills to interfacing with cross-functional technical teams - the government customer, Mission Partners and other government contractors
•    Demonstrated experience working with DoD/Space Force customers
•    Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing requirements and tasks
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Experience performing Hardware sparing analysis
•    Experience performing Logistics Analysis (e.g. SERD, DMSMS, RMA, Supportability)
