Description
INTRODUCTION:
The Customer accelerates mission delivery and connects mission partners with the power of commercially-driven cloud computing. The Customer brings multi-cloud solutions to mission environments, supports cloud services providers (CSPs), and offers cloud services across multiple networks.
SCOPE:
The Contractor shall provide IT program management and systems engineering support for the Customer. The Customer’s Cloud Program Office was established to manage the contractual, technical, security and community cloud engagement activities on behalf of the Customer’s community. The Contractor shall support the oversight of infrastructure expansion projects to maintain and grow the Cloud. The Contractor shall ensure that all development and modifications to existing Customer applications comply with Customer’s security and architectural policies and regulations. The Contractor shall be required to communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries, to include other contractor teams. The Contractor shall be required to work with Customer staff and contractor personnel, as well as external stakeholders.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Systems Engineering Support (~3 FTE)
a. The Contractor shall collect, analyze, and synthesize reporting data associated with commercial cloud consumption and provide to the Customer.
b. The Contractor shall coordinate with mission partners and CSPs on any commercial cloud that impacts outages.
c. The Contractor shall coordinate with mission partners and CSPs to prioritize the rollout of new services.
d. The Contractor shall coordinate with mission partners on integration challenges associated with the rollout of new services.
e. The Contractor shall deliver integrated technical solutions across commercial cloud capability.
f. The Contractor shall provide technical support services to aid in the deployment of commercial cloud services across commercial and regulated security fabrics.
g. The Contractor shall provide end-to-end technical support of cloud service offerings.
h. The Contractor shall manage the reporting and resolution of technical and non-technical service requests.
i. The Contractor shall provision and configure support within the Customer’s secure cloud environment.
j. The Contractor shall monitor and coordinate work through resolution with mission partners on security events triggered by the Customer’s internal cloud tracking tool.
k. The Contractor shall support development and engineering of new cloud-enabled services.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience designing and deploying web, internet, and cloud technologies.
2. Demonstrated experience with systems engineering lifecycle management.
3. Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile development methodologies.
4. Demonstrated experience with Cloud Engineering working with one or more of the following CSPs: AWS, Google, Microsoft, Oracle or IBM.
Desired Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience with the Customer’s Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and tool.
2. Demonstrated experience working in the Customer’s domain.
3. Demonstrated experience working with cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.).
4. Bachelor’s degree in related field of Business or Systems Engineering.
5. Certification(s): Cloud Engineering related or one of the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud.
