Introduction

Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).  The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a Senior Section 508 Compliance Tester to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA. 

SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies. 

Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

Job Description

Leads a team of Section 508 Compliance Testers focused on establishing test plans, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and all supporting documentation for the section 508 compliance team. Responsible for planning, creating, and executing a comprehensive range of both manual and automated tests on systems and web applications through close collaboration with mission area stakeholders, development teams, and program managers. Advises the Government of any adverse impacts to stability, cost, architecture, interoperability, compatibility, and service. Assists in creating strategies to help maximize successful adoption and integration with agency efforts. Additionally, may support development of change deliverables and documentation that enables successful transition within the agency stakeholders, customers, and end users. Tracks weekly progress, produce reports and monitors metrics. Provides inputs to contract deliverables and assists with creation of the Activity Report.

This position requires reporting onsite to the customer location in Quantico, VA as needed (1-2 days per week).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

It is required that the Senior Section 508 Compliance Lead have the following qualifications: 

  • BA/BS with a minimum 9 years hands-on experience in test automation, including extensive experience in digital accessibility, or additional years of experience and certifications in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to lead a team of testers with minimal oversight
  • Experience with WCAG 2.0 A/AA standards
  • Strong understanding with Automated Test Tools, such as ANDI and JAWS
  • Experience completing manual assessments
  • Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • DHS Trusted Tester Version 5 Certification
  • TS/SCI
