SAIC has an opportunity for an Army Aerial Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) Systems Engineer at Ft Belvoir, VA supporting the US Army intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) G7 Modernization Branch. 

 

Job Duties:

  • Representing & advising the government customer in the modernization of Army AISR including the requirement identification, acquisition, solution development, testing and fielding of products (following Army policy/procedures).  
  • Candidate should have knowledge of AISR platforms and technologies, and the ability to comprehend customer objectives, CONOPS, and requirements. 

 

This is high visibility role that directly influences the acquisition and fielding of Army Intelligence products to soldiers supporting all Combatant Commands. 

Periodic travel around CONUS may be required to support OPTs, PMRs, exercises, or demonstrations of Army Intelligence products.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and nine (9) years of experience with systems engineering and product development 

Required Security Clearance: 

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Required Skills:

  • Army Process, Acquisition, and System Fielding Experience
  • Knowledge of Army Global Aerial ISR/Intel Architecture and Process, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED).
  • Experience with all phases of systems and product development life cycles.

Desired Skills:

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills for working with senior leadership and         
  • Knowledge on one or more of the following Army AISR Systems- Guardrail, ARL-S, Grey Eagle, Air Vigilance, ARES, ARTEMIS, HADES and their capabilities and technology.
  • Defense Acquisition University attendance.
