The Product Management Operations Lead will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the data and analytics product portfolio, ensuring seamless operations, and driving continuous improvement. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of DoD AI and data-driven initiatives and make a meaningful contribution to the broader industry transformation.

The Product Management Operations team serves as the primary support function between a large DoD Enterprise Data Analytics and AI Platform and the user communities it supports. Services include the people, processes, and tools to provide exceptional user interface and experience (UI/UX), stakeholder engagements, tier 2 thru 4 service desk operations, knowledge management, and user training. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of product and operations specialists while overseeing the management of the data and analytics product portfolio.
  • Define and execute the product strategy in alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize, develop, and launch new products and features in accordance with stakeholder requirements.
  • Establish and maintain operational processes to ensure product delivery and support of IT systems.
  • Implement Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to manage a community of applications, systems, and services product teams that support the data analytics and AI platform.
  • Monitor and report on key product performance metrics.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions for IT systems.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree and fifteen (15) years of experience in Engineering or similar discipline, Master’s degree and twelve (12) years of experience or PhD and ten (10) years of experience. Will consider additional years of experience in lieu of education
  • Proven experience in product management and operations, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in product management methodologies, including product planning, development, and lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and operations to effectively manage and optimize product-related processes
  • Familiarity with User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) principles to enhance product usability and customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in managing service desk functions, including issue resolution, user support, and escalation procedures
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics related to product performance and operations to drive data-driven decisions 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies 
  • SAFe certification
  • Other relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Certified Professional in Product Management (CPPM), or ITIL 4

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
