SAIC is seeking multiple Hardware Network Engineers at multiple levels to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.
This position is on-site in Aberdeen, MD. SAIC provides relocation assistance.
In support of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) and Task Order (TO), SAIC is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates. We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals who have in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessments, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstrations, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of designated information and/or intelligence software systems.
Job Duties:
- Integrate, fabricate and install HW equipment on various platforms
- Conducts research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components
- Designs new or modifies existing products, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration
- Work may encompass one or several areas of engineering including electronic design, mechanical design, reliability engineering or other related fields
- Responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines; developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and documentation of work and results
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Principal Level:
- Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of degree
- Senior Level:
- Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of degree
- Mid Level:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of degree
Required Clearance:
- A Top Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; a TS/SCI Security Clearance is required to maintain employment
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
