As the Senior Program Manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled professionals who provide system engineering and technical services to support our customer’s Requirements/Governance/System Architecture efforts. The Program Manager will interface daily with the customer’s Lead to develop the team’s priorities and provide the team with strategic direction.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a team strategy based on customer requirements and direction.
- Oversee the facilitating and delegation of individuals to support customer priorities and initiatives.
- Monitor the program’s activities.
- Manage the program’s budget.
- Document the program’s progress via monthly Project Management Reviews (PMR) and the MCSR
- Be the interface between SAIC and the customer.
- Delivering on-contract growth goals
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline.
- Ten(10) years or more of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following program management activities
- Knowledge of program management methods
- Ability to address customer issues and provide workable solutions
- Provide strong leadership and management of people
- Time management and the ability to meet/beat deadlines
- Active PMP Certification.
Desired:
- Experience understanding system Architecture documentation
- Strong research, writing, and documentation skills
- Experience working in JIRA and/or Confluence, Project Management methodologies and Agile Scrum
- Experience using analytic and critical thinking skills
- Ability to brief diverse audiences and stakeholders including senior customer officers.
- Familiarity with data management and governance processes to include data cataloging tools
