SAIC is seeking multiple Cybersecurity Specialists at multiple levels to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.

This position is on-site in Aberdeen, MD.

In support of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) and Task Order (TO), SAIC is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates.  We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals who have in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessments, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstrations, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of designated information and/or intelligence software systems.

Job Duties: 

  • Designs, tests, and implements secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications
  • Completes continuous monitoring and scanning for Risk Management Framework
  • Experience with eMASS in support of RMF within a DoD environment
  • Experience with security risk assessment automation tools like Xacta 
  • Conducts risk and vulnerability assessment at the network, system and application level
  • Develops and implements security controls and formulates operational risk mitigations along with assisting in security awareness programs
  • Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access
  • Researches, evaluates and recommends new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy
  • Utilizes COTS/GOTS and custom tools and processes/procedures in order to scan, identify, contain, mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities, and intrusions
  • Assists in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and makes recommendations on process tailoring
  • Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards
  • Supports the formal Security Test and Evaluation (STE) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Junior Level:
    • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Senior Level:
    • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Principal Level:
    • Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Senior Principal Level: 
    • Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree

Required Clearance:

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI CI Poly Security Clearance
