SAIC is seeking multiple Lead Systems Engineers at multiple levels to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.

This position is on-site in Aberdeen, MD. SAIC does provide relocation assistance.

In support of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) and Task Order (TO), SAIC is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates.  We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals who have in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessments, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstrations, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of designated information and/or intelligence software systems.
 
Job Duties:

  • Perform Systems Engineering activities related to Information Technology or Engineering including: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system op. performance analysis, Lifecycle cost analysis estimation, decision analysis and physical configuration analysis (PCA)
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications
  • Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet Program and Project needs, including present and future capacity requirements

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Chief Level: Bachelor's degree and eighteen (18) years or more experience; four (4) years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Senior Level: Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years or more experience; four (4) years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degree

Clearance Requirements:

  • A Top Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; a TS/SCI CI Poly Security Clearance is required to maintain employment

Required Skills:

  • Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of the STI process
  • STI requirements including SIGINT/EW, Multi-INT, SDRs, MOSA, and RF signals to perform and support the required research and analysis techniques, assessments and reporting required
  • Ability to manage systems engineering performance including: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system and other performance analysis
  • Must have one of the following to achieve IAT Level II
    • CCNA-Security
    • CySA+
    • GICSP
    • GSEC
    • Security+ CE
    • CND
    • SSCP
    • Computing Environment Cert (ex Windows, Linux, AWS)
