SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity ISSO to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.
 
In support of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) and Task Order (TO), SAIC is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates.  We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals who have in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessments, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstrations, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of designated information and/or intelligence software systems.
 
Job Description:

  • Perform duties as Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), to include Cyber Team Lead
  • General duties include cyber responsibilities supporting architects, plans, system configurations, deployments and maintenance of systems (COTS/GOTS) and  custom tool-sets, to include addressing related vulnerabilities and/or implementing security controls
  • Applies a combination of expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT and security solutions to design, develop and/or implement solutions to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture security policies and support full spectrum military cyberspace operations
  • Designs, tests, and implements secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions
  • Duties also include security control design and solution planning at the system, mission, and enterprise level, security-in-depth/defense-in-depth, and other related IAM/ISSO/ISSE support functions
  • Supports a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access
  • Researches and evaluates Cyber capabilities and new security tools and products against operational requirements and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy, and to support the offensive and defensive capability design and troubleshoot and problem solve technical and non-technical issues

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Four (4) years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.

Clearance Requirements:

  • A Top Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; a TS/SCI Security Clearance is required to maintain employment.

Required Skills:

  • Reviewing and assessing architects, plans, configurations, deployments and upgrades to COTS/GOTS and custom toolsets to address vulnerabilities and/or implement security controls
  • Must have expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT and security solutions to design, develop and/or implement solutions to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture security policies and support full spectrum military cyberspace operations
  • At the Leadership level, this senior technical staff member must have the skills to transforming customer environments into a more secure operating environment in a holistic manner
  • One of the following to achieve IAM Level II
    • CAP
    • CASP+ CE
    • CISM
    • CISSP (or Associate) GSLC
    • Computing Environment Cert (ex Windows, Linux, AWS)
