Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to support all areas of quality for the Strategic Systems Hardware division, as well as the Strategic Systems Programs SP23 technical branch efforts for the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the SP23 tasking point of contact for all quality related matters, including but not limited to T9001 support and compliance as well as continuity for program quality between segregated tasking and workload.
- Manage, lead, or participate in internal/external audits and inspections conducted by Crane or Program entities.
- Collect, document, and monitor data for corrective action and communicate this information effectively during quality reviews and via written reports to Crane/program management and other appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Coordinate responses to incoming product quality deficiency reports and provide training and lead other branch level quality issues related to T9001.
- Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and implement a variety of continuous performance improvement activities to business and technical processes based upon the results of quality audits.
- Perform analysis of audit deficiencies, develop recommendations for corrective action and develop / publish complete and concise quality audit reports.
- Research, compile and analyze audit findings to identify systemic trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or other related field and ten (10) or more years of experience. Master’s degree and seven (7) or more years of experience.
- Experience with Quality Assurance related activities, including experience in QA lead roles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead in all areas of quality, such as T9001B, as well as coordinating all levels of quality process improvement initiatives and evaluations.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, work environment and operate independently and collaboratively to accomplish deliverables.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Interim secret required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
- Must be a US Citizen.
