SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Performs customer support for a complex database management systems, workstations and servers. 
• Works as part of a team to provide customer support for the Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM) system.
• Ensure timely and appropriate responses to help-desk support calls and emails.
• Coordinate with site/instance owners for database user approvals and permissions.
• Update user status and permissions upon approval.
• Create and update WorkFlows in iPDM.
• Record and track monthly help-desk ticket metrics.
• Work with users for Module training (one-on-one and group training) in person or via Teams. 
• Locate, troubleshoot, document, and report various issues with iPDM and work with developers to ensure fixes work appropriately to resolve the issues.
• Work closely with Systems Administrators, Database Engineers, and Software Developers.
• Attend various Branch, Division, or Engineering meetings.
• Lead training sessions as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of iPDM functionality.
• Help customers identify capabilities in iPDM to solve their problems.
• Works under general direction on routine work. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy
• Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. Often refers to policies, procedures and practices for guidance.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

• Bachelors and three (3) years related experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Database help-desk skills recommended.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Security Clearance to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Full DOD Security clearance. SAIC will sponsor qualified candidates for a security clearance.
