SAIC is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with designing, developing, and implementing RF testing methods and equipment.
• Assist with planning schedules and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special device for Electronic Countermeasure Systems.
• Supports test events, compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, or new testing requirements in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures or Naval Instructions.
•  Applies technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related RF disciplines.
• Provides T&E engineering input for the development of the master test plan and assisting in the development of the master test schedule for Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS). 
• Provides engineering support for testing of prototype and fielded systems.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering and 5 years experience; Masters and 3 years related professional experience. Three (3) or more years experience must be in Electronic Countermeasures Systems
• Demonstrate experience with Test Engineering Execution
• Communicate well verbally and in writing
• Work within a team to find solutions
• Document processes and provide expertise for customer feedback
• Meet specified deadlines - position is very time sensitive with deliverable schedule
• Maintain schedules, track progress, and provide status reports
• Intermediate to Advanced skill set with MS Office
• Travel will be mostly within 100 miles. 2-3 times per year travel will be outside of 100 miles.
• Highly motivated and have ability to independently find solutions

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• Candidate must have an interim secret clearance to start with the ability to obtain a full secret clearance.  SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
