Description

SAIC is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager at at I MEF, Camp Pendleton, CA to oversee all building-related activities and to ensure I MEF’s new building is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions. 

 

Job Duties:

• Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate functional building utilization and configuration
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
• Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors
• Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
• Allocate office space based on tenant requirements.
• Handle insurance plans and service contracts, keep financial and non-financial records
• Perform analysis and forecasting

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree and ten (10) years or more of USMC or related military experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree

Required Security Clearance:

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance (US Citizenship required).

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Good analytical/critical thinking
• BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) is an advantage

Target salary range: $105,001 - $115,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
