Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst in St. Inigoes, MD.  As a key member of the Program Management Team the Senior Scheduler will work with various project teams to maintain program and project schedules.  

This is a hybrid-remote position located in St. Inigoes, MD and requires a minimum of 2 days per week onsite. Open to candidates local to the area only. 

Job duties include the following essential functions:

  • Ability to develop and integrate master plans and schedules on DoD programs.
  • Provide critical path analysis, identify problem areas, and create work-around solutions.
  • Timely create and maintain program and project schedules necessary to properly plan work.
  • Assist with establishing project budgets from proposal estimate, track committed costs, and forecast remaining costs for engineering, equipment procurement, and construction sub-contracts.
  • Responsible for project and program contingency planning.
  • Advises project lead on matters affecting project success, schedule, and cost impacts, and develops project recovery plans when needed.
  • Part of the project management team responsible for meeting project deadlines.
  • Maintain a change management program.
  • Assist with identifying out of scope work items and creating change order requests to be presented to the client, including estimated cost and schedule impacts.
  • Within the area of responsibility, consistently identifies potential project problems or opportunities in a proactive manner, analyze the issues using all appropriate resources, develop alternatives and arrives at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • 5+ years of related experience 
  • 5+ years' experience using Microsoft Project
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
