Description

SAIC is seeking an Integration Technician to join our team at the office in North Charleston, SC.

The candidate will support activities such as designing, testing, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly, and installation of C4I. The candidate will assist in prototype electro mechanical systems installation procedures, experimental design circuitry, transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Applications may include electronic circuits, photonics and logic systems; the candidate will also work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform multiple tasks using written detailed instructions.
• Install electrical and mechanical equipment/components.
• Perform inspections for proper installation.
• Assembled communication equipment using standard hand tools.
• Assembly drawings and technical manual and specific written and oral instructions.
• Trouble shoot and repair electrical components.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, or formal electronics training form: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communication.
• Must have at least ten (10) years appropriate experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair of digital computers, computer peripheral/interface equipment, VME based systems, digital, switches, radio frequency transmitters, receivers, antennas, and modems.
• Must have experience in the maintenance and repair of C5ISR systems, subsystems and equipment within the last 4 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
