Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist working onsite to support development and implementation of a continuous monitoring strategy across the NGIC located in Charlottesville, VA

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Help define, communicate, and implement security policy across all client platforms.
  • Work with IT PMs to ensure systems remain compliant with relevant authorities.
  • Monitor relevant policies and regulations for changes that may affect the system.
  • Maintain official client records for systems across three domains; and provide/ develop supporting evidence for RMF IA Controls. 

Qualifications

Required Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and fourteen (14) years of experience; Master’s degree and twelve (12) years of experience.
  • DoD 8140 (8570) IAM or IAT Level II Certification 

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (US Citizenship required)

Required Skills:

  • Experience securing computer systems, performing accreditation activities, and/or writing security plans.
  • Experience with planning, implementing, monitoring, and managing continuous monitoring solutions.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
  • Experience with applying compliance standards to large and complex IT environments.
  • Knowledge of DoD A&A processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST 800-53, & DISA STIGs
  • Experience with eMASS tools

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience integrating new software capabilities into existing NGIC networks to include knowledge of NGIC software architecture requirements, life cycle processes, NGIC hardware & OS baselines, security configurations.
  • Ability to present technical information and project In-Progress Reviews to O-6, GS 15 level stakeholders
  • ITIL certification
  • Knowledge of terminology and federal regulations applicable to specification, development, acquisition, and maintenance of IT systems
