SAIC is seeking an Insider Threat Data Analyst onsite at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) in Charlottesville, VA.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of audit data content and format to find defects with the data.
- Complete written reports detailing data defects and recommended improvements.
- Register data defects with required development teams and monitor resolution status of those defects.
- Work with Development teams to test changes to their Audit data generation functionalities.
- Develop instructional material on proper audit data generation.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years of experience; Master’s degree and seven (7) years of experience.
Required Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (US Citizenship required).
Required Skills:
- Eight years of IT related experience overall
- Two years of experience working as a data analyst/insider threat analyst
- Experience working with structured data (JSON/XML)
- Familiarity with relevant DOD security standards (ICS 500-27 & CNSSI 1253)
- Ability to develop and brief material in front of groups of 10+ people.
Desired Skills:
- DOD 8140 (8570) IAM or IAT Level II Certification
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Experience with scripting and task automation (python, PowerShell, Perl, etc.)
