SAIC is currently seeking an Operations Research Analyst (ORA) to work onsite at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) in Charlottesville, VA.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on operational capabilities and data availability, including data metrics;
- Elevating known issues and defects to the Government, requirements team, and software maintenance vendors;
- Provide end user support, investigating system and data issues, providing recommendations to the Government.
- Monitor systems for account requests and approve or deny said accounts
- Create accounts within the system as well as troubleshooting current accounts
- Monitoring the Team Admin email and assisting users with tier 1 support and with notifying Systems Administrators of any reported outages or reported issues
- Provide support in monitoring and reporting on the progress of Mission Data Systems defect identification, defect tracking, and defect resolution.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years of experience; Master’s degree and seven (7) years of experience.
Required Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (US Citizenship required)
Required Skills:
- 5 years IT experience supporting complex multi-tiered systems.
- Experience with Windows machines and applications.
- Experience supporting custom military intelligence software applications.
- Capable of extracting raw data and transforming it via analytic tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting information assurance compliance efforts.
- Experience interfacing with government personnel; and providing progress reports.
