SAIC is seeking an exceptional individual to support the Air Force's next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system acquisition.  Our customer is the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program Office located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.  This is a long-term project with the weapon system anticipated to remain operational until 2075.  This is a massive development effort with many opportunities.  We are seeking a Systems Security Engineer with a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.  This is a great opportunity to work on the most exciting and challenging development and acquisition effort in the DoD with a great company.  This position requires the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision, exercising initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, review, comply with, and manage the Program Protection (P2) Plan, Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Plan, Counter-Intelligence Plan, and other applicable documents.
  • Serve as a P2 technical advisor and primary point of contact to the government P2 Program Manager.
  • Provides training and oversight for all P2 processes and activities.
  • Evaluate all program documents, resolve all P2 issues, and coordinate with system assurance manager to analyze all P2 requirements.
  • Review prime contractor contract deliverables for compliance to P2 requirements.
  • Interacting with the Government customer and other stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree from an accredited program with 9+ years related experience or Master’s Degree and 7+ years related experience.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
  • Familiarity with digital engineering (DE)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Current US DoD Security Clearance
