SAIC is looking for an Information System Security Manager working on a team of Regional Information System Security Managers (ISSM) at FORSCOM HQ on Ft. Liberty, NC. You will lead a team of IT professionals at remote locations across the country supporting FORSCOM's intelligence enterprise. 

Job Duties:

• Work closely with government clients.
• Conduct independent comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls (as defined in NIST 800-37).
• Manage and track POAMs related to security controls.
• Manage Accreditation Packages (e.g., ISO/IEC 15026-2).
• Develop unique cyber indicators to maintain constant awareness of the status of the highly dynamic operating environment. Collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates cyber warning assessments.
• Develop cyberspace plans, strategy and policy to support and align with organizational cybersecurity missions and initiatives.
• Perform assessments of systems and networks within the NE or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
• Review Assessment and Authorization (A & A) documents to confirm that the level of risk is within acceptable limits for each software application, system, and network.
• Plan and conduct security authorization reviews and assurance case development for initial installation of systems and networks.
• Interface with appropriate government agencies, company management and employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure understanding of and compliance with security requirements.
• Capture weekly/monthly/quarterly activities and metrics from your team and deliver them in respective written reports on a specified timetable.   

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience

Required Security Clearance:

• Possess active Top Secret w/ SCI clearance (US Citizenship required)

Required Skills:

• Experience with managing remote teams
• Must possess one of the following IAM Level II certifications: CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), or GSLC, or CCISO.
• Extensive knowledge of NIST and DoD cybersecurity standards, guidelines, best practices, and RMF processes.
