SAIC is looking for a Senior AEGIS Test Analyst in the VA Beach area for a hybrid remote role.

As an AEGIS Senior Test Analyst, the candidate will support Test and Evaluation (T&E) of U.S. Navy surface ships and weapon systems for Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). Your work will contribute to the success for AEGIS Class Ships, which includes test planning, Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) requirements development, resource coordination and budgeting. Systems Engineering activities include concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system analysis, validation and verification. 
 
The ideal candidate will provide senior level support to the Aegis Chief Development Tester that manages Developmental Testing (DT), Integrated Testing (IT), and works with Operational Test and Evaluation Force (OPTEVFOR) and Director, Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E) for Operational Testing (OT). Support will also include filling in for/representing the CDT in various forums; therefore, technical knowledge of the AEGIS Weapon System, first-hand knowledge of the CDT’s position on various issues, and continuous communications with Stakeholders and Warfare Centers are all essential. Work will generally be independent and checked through consultation and agreement with others rather than by formal review by the CDT. The ideal candidate will have background in Integrated Evaluation Framework translating requirements into testable scenarios initiating assignment and creating workflow for Test Execution activities. Additionally, the candidate will perform technical writing to include Non-Compliance memorandums, Engineering Assessments, test schedules, assessment artifacts, position papers, white papers, test plans and program briefs, support various working groups. Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.

Qualifications

Required:
- Experience as a Navy / DoD weapon system acquisition contractor
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering discipline, or four additional years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree and 9 years of experience
- Active SECRET Clearance 
- Operational and Technical knowledge of US Navy Ship Systems and programs Experienced at developing TEMPS, CDDS and Test Planning     documentation
- Comfortable briefing senior level Navy Leadership
- Strong technical writing proficiency 
 
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Previous U.S. Navy Active Duty in Senior Enlisted or Officer Positions
- Familiarity with DoD T&E ranges 
- Expert with DoD systems engineering processes.
