SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking highly motivated, mission-focused candidates to support the breadth of their mission operations activities. As the Mission Operations Consultant, you will support integrated teams in the planning, definition, coordination, and execution of mission operations. Your responsibilities will include the following: 

  • Deploying overseas to potentially include high threat or denied areas, as required
  • Providing first-line technical support response for operational efforts
  • Ensuring all operational requirements are satisfied in an effective, secure, and timely manner
  • Developing and maintaining repeatable mission processes that leverage operational planning best practices and ensures the success of each mission
  • Assisting with the development of test plans and resolution of ambiguities with development contractors
  • Witnessing tests and managing the end user requirements verification and validation process, as well as, documenting test findings
  • Performing integration testing in either a customer integration and test facility or site to ensure system integrity during operations
  • Preparing and maintaining system and subsystem stock for mission systems, which may require temporary duty (TDY) overseas for installation, training, and maintenance
  • Providing on-the-job training related to relevant tools, as needed, to support operational planning and execution

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Years of relevant experience:
    • 0-2 (Entry)
    • 3-5 (Fundamental)
    • 6-10 (Senior)
    • 11-15 (Expert)
    • 16+ (SME)

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree in related field
