SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking highly motivated Engineering Process Consultants to leverage their expertise and assess and refine processes to enable mission success. As the Engineering Process Consultant, you will analyze the Sponsor’s projects, programs, and enterprise readiness activities to identify critical risk elements and susceptibilities to failure or vulnerabilities through an application of numerical approaches.  We are seeking qualified candidates from entry-level to subject matter expertise (SME). Your responsibilities will include the following: 

  • Identifying and prioritizing options available to reduce, monitor, and control the likelihood or impact of a process element
  • Assisting in the coordination and planning for program organizational engineering review boards and other technical forums
  • Providing technical subject matter expertise and guidance during program reviews, organizational engineering review boards, and other technical forums
  • Supporting the development of agendas, presentations, and minutes, as required, to foster cooperation and technical understanding within and across program
  • Supporting technical communication efforts with the Sponsor and related mission partners
  • Providing input and assistance in preparing technical program and project briefs
  • Assessing current engineering processes, baselining them, and then providing improvements for efficiency and effectiveness of technical project execution

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field
  • Years of relevant experience:
    • 0-2 (Entry)
    • 3-5 (Fundamental)
    • 6-10 (Senior)
    • 11-15 (Expert)
    • 16+ (SME)
