SAIC is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst with a background in data engineering to support the National Counterintelligence and Security Center’s technology programs.

The Geospatial Analyst/Technical Specialist seeks opportunities to improve Geospatial applications and tools, troubleshoots technical problems in coordination with the software developer, and engages mission users through individual training, group presentations, and capability demonstrations. They evaluate geospatial products, design applications, and develop web pages. This position is located in Bethesda, MD.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCi with CI Poly is required
  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience within an IC Agency, preferably ODNI
  • 5-10 years of experience in technical engineering, drafting, cartographic experience or other GIS related field
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS VBA scripting languages, ArcGIS Pro and other ESRI software, data visualization, SQL and virtualization databases
  • Understanding of basemap layers, geocoding and routing capabilities, and other geospatial functionalities.
  • Effective oral communication skills, with experience briefing senior-level audiences.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic mission environment which requires balancing competing priorities and schedules
