SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking highly motivated Project Schedulers to leverage their expertise and provide project scheduling and coordination support to ensure projects are effectively executed to meet mission needs and timelines.  As the Project Scheduler / Coordinator, you will assist with the development and monitoring of strategic plans, and develop and maintain project management plans addressing scope, resources, cost, schedule, performance metrics, program management approach, technical delivery approach, and security.  We are seeking qualified candidates from entry-level to subject matter expertise (SME). Your responsibilities will include the following: 

  • Assisting in project planning and control, including tracking technical, performance, schedules, and customer-assigned action items
  • Assisting with funding and budget documents
  • Assisting in the preparation of project plans and milestones, as well as, status reports
  • Monitoring the execution of tasks for quality and against planned timelines
  • Developing and implementing essential program management processes, including requirements, resources, schedules, configuration, and risk management processes
  • Supporting the analysis and evaluation of legal business processes and the design and implementation of improved processes
  • Providing input and assistance in preparing program and/or project briefs
  • Composing project reports and documents, and other project related materials
  • Creating, improving, and executing the administrative aspects of relevant Sponsor organizational workflows that reflect pre-coordination, review, and approval processes for portfolio associated programs
  • Assisting with tracking mission milestones by updating and providing inputs to Integrated Project Schedules (IPSs)
  • Integrating baseline and status data from the Sponsor’s activities with major program, system, and segment level milestones and overall TO Sponsor commitments
  • Supporting content creation, scheduling for, and facilitation of program reviews, engineering review boards, and other technical forums at the program level

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Years of relevant experience:
    • 0-2 (Entry)
    • 3-5 (Fundamental)
    • 6-10 (Senior)
    • 11-15 (Expert)
    • 16+ (SME)

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
