SAIC is seeking a System Administrator to join our team at Fort Moore, Georgia. 

Job Description:

  • Systems Administrator to manage and administer enterprise infrastructure on classified and unclassified closed-restricted networks supporting the Modeling and Simulation Branch of the Maneuver Battle Lab, Fort Moore, GA.
  • The Associate System Administrator ensures high availability of services such as Active Directory & Domain Services, DHCP, DNS, Virtualization using Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware, AAA/RADIUS, network-accessible storage, WDS, WSUS, and group policy management. 
  • Provides and/or administers automated solutions for auditing, reporting, monitoring, inventory, and compliance enforcement. 
  • Audit and review systems access and privileges to effectively enforce least privilege and reduce risk. 
  • Serve as escalation point for helpdesk personnel and provide guidance for other administrators when needed.
  • Ensure systems and workstations are baselined and follow a congruent security policy. 
  • Provide scalable Windows imaging solutions with lite-touch network deployments and automated software installations, patches, and updates. 
  • Plan and execute server migrations and resource optimization in the server room.

 

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree. 

Required Certification

  •  Possess (or obtain within 90 days of hire) DoD Baseline IAT-II certifications (CompTIA Security+, or equivalent)

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise systems administration, Storage Area Network/Network Accessible storage technologies
  • Developing and baselining Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows Server 2016/2019, common productivity software, common browsers, managing Hyper-V and VMware virtualized environments
  • Developing and maintaining compliance through group policy, DISA STIGs, DoD Risk Management Framework, and downstream Windows Server Update Services
  • Proficient with configuring, managing and auditing enterprise networks using PowerShell scripting.

Required Clearance:

Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance; Interim Secret clearance required to start
