SAIC is currently seeking a Senior Military Advisor supporting the Army’s Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) to support our efforts at Fort Cavazos, TX.
- Possess demonstrated experience, skills and in-depth knowledge of National Guard mobilizations, home-station training, and pre-/post-mobilization training requirements.
- Participate in planning events, support staff in conferences and meetings.
- Provide advisement regarding operational events, training, and mobilizations.
- Must be willing to work in the training environment and operational conditions. Work requirements may exceed the standard workday to include supporting 24-hour Army operations.
CONUS travel up to 50% is required.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
Required Security Clearance:
- Active Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in Mission Command Information Systems.
- Mission Command Digital Master Gunner
- Prior US Army experience in recent contingency operations.
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of the Sustainment Readiness Model
- Understanding of National Guard mobilization processes
- Knowledge of Defense Support for Civil Authorities (DSCA) operations
- Knowledge of network compliance and services simulating real-world combat environment
