SAIC is seeking a Proposal Writer, Solutions Architect to lead technical responses of upcoming proposals, RFIs, and White Papers.

This position will work closely with senior leadership and technical SME's.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a broad technical background and is passionate about delivering winning proposals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop accurate and high-quality content for proposals.
• Provide end-to-end writing support for assigned proposal section or volume in response to solicitations to ensure delivery of a well-written, compelling, and compliant response.
• Meet with Bids & Proposals team, Business Development, Capture, and Operations staff to review RFPs and determine requirements to develop customized proposals.
• Work with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve content development processes.
• Coordinate with Proposal Manager and leadership team to develop a compliant outline for assigned proposal sections.
• Ensure incorporation of strategic themes, as well as compliance, with proposal requirements and RFP requirements.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the proposal team regarding processes, tools, and templates.

Qualifications

Required

• Active Secret clearance or higher is a must
• Experience writing competitive and compliant proposals
• Previous experience working with Solution Architects to refine and/or customize corporate capabilities into Customer focused solutions is highly desired
• Proposal writing in the cleared government contracting sector
• Technical writing experience in a few of the following domains: 
  • System engineering, Cloud computing, Cyber security, Data science and analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Application development, Network operations, Secure communications, DevSecOps
• Bachelors degree preferred (may forego degree for strong proposal writing experience)
• Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
