Description
SAIC is looking for a Database Engineer to support the Center for Information Warfare Training Exam Delivery System. The candidate will support the design and integration of server and web-based applications such as Navy Enlisted Advancement System (NEAS), Navy Exam Deliver System (EDS), and Moodle. This position will conduct web server and database maintenance; troubleshoot custom servers and web-based applications; and develop custom programming code to integrate applications into CIWT networks. This position is located in Pensacola, FL.
Qualifications
Education and experience:

Bachelors degree; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required skills:
- Must be able to maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) web applications.
- Must be able to implement DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) IIS and SQL configurations.
- Must have experience with Active Directory integration of web applications and single sign-on (SSO).
- Must have experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 installation, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Experience installing, maintaining, and patching/upgrading MS SQL 2016/2019.
- Backup and restoration of system and user data using Symantec Backup Exec (or comparable application).
Required clearance:

Must have an active Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret/ SCI clearance.
Required certification:
- Must be able to one of the following certifications within six months of hire:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (Exam DP-300)
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (Exam SC-300)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (Exams AZ-800 & AZ-801)
