SAIC is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer Mid Level to help lead the design, implementation, and management of a secure multi-region full-service Azure Cloud Infrastructure.  We are looking for talented cloud engineers with hands on experience to join our team and ensure Customer success.

Job Responsibilities:         

• Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking components, and other Azure resources.
• Develop automation scripts, templates, and tools using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Ansible, Bicep or other automation frameworks.
• Support of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), to manage Windows and Linux users, DNS and other Active Directory services.
• Configure, maintain Windows and Linux Azure VMs following strict Operating System hardening requirements.
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure services, such as Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup to ensure data integrity, availability, and business continuity.
• Monitor Azure resources, identify performance bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization and troubleshoot resources to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for secure access to Azure resources.

Qualifications

Required:

• BS and 5 years of experience. 
• Proven work experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOI Public Trust that requires US Citizenship.

Desired:

• Windows Administration background.
• Azure certifications.

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
