SAIC is seeking a motivated and skilled candidate to apply technical expertise to inform software application development efforts. The candidate will work with stakeholders within and across the customer’s organization to find ways to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into current capabilities to automate tasks. This will involve working with existing tool providers to see how this could be done. The candidate will bring an understanding of software application development and interfaces to inform workflows and methodologies that others may pilot, then figuring out how to integrate those pilot projects into tools for automation. The successful candidate will bring an ability to work collaboratively with others, have the initiative to drive actions to completion, and possess a willingness to take on tasks needed to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
• Degree in computer science, data science, data engineering, systems engineering, information systems or similar field, or, experience can be substituted for the degree
• Experience/understanding of software application development processes (e.g. Agile)
• Ability to work with various stakeholders to determine how to integrate AI technologies into current and future capabilities for the purpose of automating functions
• Experience capturing details of integration, to include an understanding of interfaces, to help smoothly connect different capabilities in an integrated manner
• Ability to evaluate current workflows and methodologies to modify them, or develop new ones, to enable pilot projects by other vendors that integrate successful results into tools for automation
• Experience with hands-on software development or systems engineering for software systems
• Experience supporting customer technical reviews and preparing technical documentation for engineering and programmatic review boards
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across organizational boundaries to facilitate requirements gathering, use case identification, and coordination of program plans
• Self-starter eager to take initiative on tasks
• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Experience with customer targeting tools, methods, analytics
• Experience working in the IC on IT systems
• Degree in computer science, data science, data engineering, systems engineering, information systems or similar field
• Experience or familiarity with artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies
