Description

SAIC is seeking a Special Activities Engineering SETA to join the National Security and Space Sector.

High Level Duties (including but not limited to):

· Provide analytical, engineering, Technical and Administrative Guidance to Government Leadership in the execution of special activities

· Seek new, unique, and innovative data application concepts, engineering techniques, and technology applications through the interpretation and analysis of data and processes used by national systems

· Document national systems performance by conducting parametric, statistical analysis of collected data and assessing systems against user needs and requirements

· Display exceptional project management skills in order to fully integrate capabilities efficiently and effectively into current, prospective and future national and Department of Defense (DoD) systems

· Serve as technical subject matter expert (SME) to respective users/developers by providing technical and scientific assistance, as necessary to meet mission tasks and objectives

· Explore the use of specialized data sets for real world and exercise planning support to ensure the fullest utilization of resources and to meet user’s mission needs

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree with 14+ years of experience

· Prior collection or analysis experience with DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC)

· In-depth knowledge, understanding and expertise of current and projected communication protocols (5G, Wi-Fi, and 6G, for example)

· Familiarity with current and projected user intelligence priorities, issues, and architectures to include engineering Technical Readiness Levels (TRL) for specific projects

· Demonstrated project management and contract development skills to include preparation of contract and financial documents as they relate to contract requirements including developing unique Statements of Work (SOW) with matching Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL)

· Experience with the integration and operational application of national systems data to support user requirements

· Understanding of national and mission partner organizations, roles and missions

· Willingness to travel in support of Research and Development (R&D) testing, exercises, demonstrations and training requirements

· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills to include contract documents, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), program plans, and engineering documents

· Self-motivated team player

· Flexible, able to adapt to changing situations

· Active TS/SCI clearance

· Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with all levels of customer and mission partners

· Strong oral and written communications skills

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

· Flexibility to adapt to changing situations

· Ability to sense organizational dynamics and ability to navigate within to achieve mission success
