Description

SAIC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior DevSecOps Engineer to help with the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of secure Cloud products and services within our Cloud-based environment.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and automation of our development processes. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DevOps, security practices, software engineering, and Cloud technologies, and will be committed to implementing best practices to achieve seamless CI/CD operations with a security-first mindset.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Bachelors and nine years or more of related experience. Masters and seven or more years of related experience. 
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain secure Cloud products and services, aligning with industry best practices, to facilitate the streamlined delivery of features by development teams.
  • Manage and evolve the continuous build/integration infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain source control management and documentation practices, enabling efficient collaboration and version control for development teams.
  • Create and enhance fully automated CI/CD build processes for diverse environments, authoring and optimizing build and deployment scripts.
  • Integrate and support CI/CD tools, while driving operational excellence, change management, and system maintenance.
  • Champion the automation of CI/CD testing processes, minimizing manual intervention and accelerating the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Establish and enforce policies, standards, and governance guidelines for both CI/CD operations and developer workflows, promoting security and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers, production support, and information security teams to automate and manage Cloud-based infrastructure and tooling.
  • Apply agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps principles to enhance product delivery efficiency and ensure reliable product operations.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation, optimizing processes to save time and increase productivity.
