SAIC is looking for an Engineering Risk Management Analyst to support PMA-207, Tactical Airlift Program Office, to manage risk and mitigation activities in the Integrated Systems Engineering Environment (ISEE) Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO) database base to report risk information and metrics to program leadership.

This is a hybrid-remote position in California, MD and is therefore open to candidates local to the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with program leadership to assess process performance across relevant engineering processes.
  • Provide technical writing assistance in the development of presentation materials using Integrated Systems Engineering Environment (ISEE), Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO), PowerPoint, and other documentation.  Includes ensuring clarity and accuracy of information and drawings.
  • Maintain configuration control over assigned documentation within Integrated Systems Engineering Environment (ISEE), Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO), SharePoint, Teams, or other relevant databases or tools.
  • Facilitate Integrated Product Team (IPT) Risk Opportunity Working Group Meetings.
  • Participate in technical meetings to capture risk and opportunity information as it is discussed to manage risk mitigation measures to achieve an acceptable risk level. Provide meeting support such as scheduling, notes, and action tracking.
  • Coordinate maintenance and update of relevant technical documentation via Teams, emails, meetings, and one-on-one phone calls.
  • Provide recommendations for updates to documentation based on knowledge gained via meeting participation.
  • Facilitate meetings as requested by program leadership, including developing and following agenda goals.
  • Interview technical and management stakeholders at all levels to help identify and document program related risks, opportunities, and issues.
  • Work with program leadership to assess process performance across relevant engineering processes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years or more of recent and relevant experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; Masters and four (4) years or more experience.
