Description
SAIC is seeking a Cloud Computing Engineer to work remotely in support of the Military Intelligence Service and Support Task Order (MISS TO) and the Army National Guard Security and Intelligence Directorate (ARNG G-2).
100% remote/flex work. Operate on Eastern Time Zone.
Job Duties:
- Architect, engineer, and develop the IL2 Development, IL5 Test and IL5 Production environments, leveraging AWS cloud best practices.
- Tasks include operation, maintenance and sustainment of RKE2 Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipeline, and AWS infrastructure.
- Maintain compatibility/ interoperability of all cloud services composed to create systems within AWS and interacting with GitLab, pipeline tools, cloud services, and mission systems
- Independently plan, schedule, and conduct or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work through the selection and adaptation or modification of techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Work collaboratively with cybersecurity engineer and software development engineer
- Execute all efforts in a collaborative and agile development process while adhering to government mandated fixed due dates
- Work collaboratively with other software engineers, project manager, cybersecurity engineer, subject matter experts, and clients.
- Knowledge of cloud service provider services for IaaS, PaaS, and serverless configurations.
- Serve as part of a support team and provide support and System Administration for Windows and Linux administration and other applications and emerging systems.
- Provide service/maintenance for user accounts
- Troubleshoot distributed systems and applications running in AWS, as necessary.
- Migrate existing game software from a developmental environment to a production environment on AWS GovCloud
- Work with team to acquire an ATO
- Travel potentially 10% of the time
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree and nine (9) years of experience; Masters Degree and seven (7) years of experience
· Experience administering and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
· Experience implementing DISA STIGs and SRGs
· Experience with ACAS
Required Security Clearance:
· Active Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI
