SAIC is seeking an experienced and passionate Scrum Master to join our Modeling and Simulation team. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in facilitating and enabling Agile practices, ensuring the team follows Scrum principles, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor the development team, product owner, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles.
• Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
• Remove impediments and foster a productive, collaborative, and self-organizing team environment.
• Help the team maintain a focus on delivering high-quality, value-driven work in each sprint.
• Collaborate with the product owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Promote and implement Agile best practices, frameworks, and tools within the organization.
• Track and communicate team progress, metrics, and impediments to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and by identifying areas for growth.
• Encourage a culture of openness, transparency, and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly 
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10 years experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master on Agile development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, principles, and frameworks.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and guide the team towards consensus.
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• A commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
