SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist / Applications Tester who will develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, error or bug retests, and/or usability.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
  • Five (5) years or more of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following application testing activities:
    • Documenting software defects using bug tracking systems and reporting defects to software developers
    • Characterizing product performance against metrics
    • Conducting exploratory testing without automation tools to detect defects or bugs prior to any deployment or code change
    • Utilizing the security accreditation process
• Desired:
  • Demonstrated experience integrating new technologies and innovative processes or methodologies into a secure environment
  • Demonstrated experience using Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, and Headless UI
  • Demonstrated experience understanding the end-to-end system concept of operations, application features and capabilities, and user’s usage patterns
  • Demonstrated experience integrating accessibility standards into modern web methods
  • Demonstrated experience connecting multiple data sources across multiple domains and boundaries
