Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is seeking an experienced program planner/coordinator to provide targeted support to two Customer offices, one that focuses on training officers for overseas deployments and one that oversees development of all directorate officers. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who is comfortable supporting officers and activities across two teams. This position may require occasional travel in and around the WDC area. The primary duties for the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Provide office support such as ordering supplies, answering administrative queries, submitting access requests via Customer systems, acting as T&A timekeeper, maintaining training and conference room calendars, managing group email addresses, and updating phone cards.
· Serve as vault custodian to grant / remove accesses.
· Provide promotion and selection panel support including schedule coordination and document distribution.
· Program coordination including schedule and calendar coordination, document management (creating, storing, access control), and capturing and sharing meeting minutes.
· Act as Accountable Property responsible officer; ensure proper tracking, transfer, PTI, and inventory of equipment.
· Order technical equipment via the Customer system.
· Assist with all activities related to training class graduation, including reserving auditorium and photographer, printing certificates and obtaining signatures, setting up VTC, and submitting request for award board engraving.
· Ensure updated contact information is provided to relevant offices and databases as graduating officers transition to new assignments.
· Serve as training registrar; request course code and/or set up new running; enroll officers in training course; provide course completion credit upon graduation.
· Coordinate with logistics to forward student equipment to onward assignment locations.
· Prepare training rooms and prep materials for courses.
· Provide ad hoc support and issue resolution.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
· Current TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
· Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and (14) years or more of related experience. Masters and (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (9) years or more experience.
· Successful experience supporting multiple branches and customers in an active Customer space.
· Ability to work independently, show initiative, and identify and implement solutions to issues as they arise.
· Outstanding coordination skills and ability to build strong customer and external relationships, along with a high comfort level managing multiple requirements.
· Experience using MS Office applications and other tools to support and track customer activities.
