SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications. 

We are seeking a highly motivated Journeyman Operator in San Antonio, TX. to provide operational support to a government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept and locate signals of interest using the most appropriate sensor and geolocation techniques available. Journeyman Operators provide mentorship to less experienced operators in order to enhance and reinforce the training program and operational TTPs.

 Responsibilities include:

• Providing on site 24/7 real time geolocation support
• Providing instruction to oncoming employees so that they can achieve certification
• Providing subject matter expertise to internal and external customers
• Develop platform specific and AOR training courses
• Working directly with the Government to establish tasking and collection priorities

Qualifications

•  TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD and four (4) years or more experience.

• Active TS/SCI 
• Five (5) years of operational experience or instructor experience directly related to real-time sensitive collection and/or reporting in support of military operations within the last seven (7) years
• Five (5) years of experience producing T/FDOA geolocation solutions
• Experience with asset management, and personnel management
• Current EMC T&C Certifications
• Current NSAG PGC Certification

Desired:

Formalized training or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in one (1) of the following languages:

• Arabic
• Persian Farsi
• Pashto
• Russian
• Chinese Mandarin
• Korean
• Chechen
• Somali
